Akkermansia is naturally found in your gastrointestinal tract and helps regulate and protect the mucus (inner) lining of the gut. Akkermansia muciniphila, can be associated with healthy weight management. The strain designation for this product is Muc [CIP 107961]

The A. Muciniphila was prepared through lyophilization, or freeze-drying the bacterial culture, allowing the culture to be stable without refrigeration. Lyophilization dries the product by removing water under low temperature and pressure, maintaining a high viability of bacteria, and avoiding any loss of characteristics. The activity of the bacteria is reconstituted when ingested providing the desired benefits to the host.
